Day 4 (Africa) Late Start then Building *ALL DAY*
Posted
So today is the day all my sleep, soreness, and everything else you can think of caught up with me. Instead of waking up at my usual 5AM, i woke up @ 10AM. I have no idea how that happened. Its so noisy outside almost constantly and the sun in the morning is sooo bright. My body just said "screw you and take it easy". haha Kinda harsh i know but i promise you thats how i felt. I went downstairs for breakfast and it was over so i read a few chapters and cruised across the street to the stadium to see the progress of the ramps.
(Working)The boys actually had quite a bit done. Especially with our limited resources. I gave this lil' kid named Christian a Truth t-shirt. He was pumped out of his mind. He was such a little hard worker....He was teaching me how to say "I love you". He told me that his parents were killed in the Genocide and his older brother is in Prison for being apart of the Genocide and mass killing people. After a looong stressful day we were about 95% done with everything and decided to finish the rest in the Morning which was Game day.
(Dinner)We've had some pretty bomby meals. So good. My diet while i've been here has consisted of pretty much MEAT and Potatoes. Not too shabby. All the meat had bones which lead me to my random question of the day.
Random Question: How do we in America get boneless chicken or beef?
Kind of fishy huh?? How do we do it....Doesn't make sense to me! Welp, Oh well.
Sorry this blog was pretty boring. At least there are a few vids to watch!! Make sure that you let me know what you think of my blog. Feedback and encouragement is necessary! :)
Love you guys!
